	This is a magnetic tape distribution of a development
	version of Digital Equipment Corporation's OSF/1 V2.0
	for MIPS based DECstations.  This product was _never_
	officially released or sold.
	

	Requirements for creating installation tapes:

 	- *nix system with scsi tape drive (tk50 or similar)
	- four empty tapes

	See file  INSTALL  for instructions about how to make
	the installation tapes!

	For information about installing the operating system
	please look in the DEC OSF/1 V1.0 directory under the
	subdirectory "Documentation".
